The New Summer Collection from Rose's Wardrobe!

Rose’s Wardrobe has released a sustainable summer collection for 2021, designed to fit effortlessly with the rest of the range and slot into your vintage inspired wardrobe with style and ease.
THE COLLECTION
Rose’s Wardrobe’s ‘C’est si bon’ S/S21 collection features new dresses, tops and skirts available in palm print, tile print, and yellow flower print sustainable fabrics. THE STYLES: NEW DRESSES
Rose’s Wardrobe is introducing two new dress styles to the Wardrobe this Summer!
The ‘Josie’ dress, which is a ‘Jean’ blouse top with a ‘Rosie’ half circle skirt, with pockets and an added matching fabric belt with vintage buckle. This dress is available in the tile print (pictured), Coral linen, cotton Pastel stripe and the Sizzle Hemp/organic cotton.
The ‘Eda’ dress is a classic square necked, 1950s style dress, inspired by Emma’s Grandmother, Edna. The photo used for inspiration is of Edna stood on a bridge in Reading in the late 50’s, she also had a polka dot version in the same style. This Summer dress features a lined bodice, gathered, slightly elasticated waist, side seam pockets and a matching fabric belt with vintage buckle. It is available in a range of the stunning Summer fabrics, including the limited edition Yellow flower fabric here.
THE STYLES: ‘PAT’ SHORTS
Introducing a new style to the Wardrobe - the ‘Pat' short!
Just a shorter version of Rose’s Wardrobes ‘Patricia’ trouser with a few tweaks - the hem of the short has been widened for a relaxed look and added a little button at the top of the invisible side zip.
Available in a range of lovely Summer fabrics, including the Pastel stripe and Coral Linen.
Pair with the ‘Jean’ blouse or the matching ‘Lily’ blouse for a vintage inspired look.
Emma (pictured) wears a custom size.
THE FABRICS
THE FABRICS: LIMITED EDITION
Sourcing the right fabrics is very important to Rose’s Wardrobe and we are pleased to offer a range of beautiful fabrics and of course a few limited edition ones too.
The Palm print is 1950s fabric so limited edition and will be available in accessories and a blouse either the ‘Lily’ blouse (sleeveless ‘Lillias’) or the ‘Jean’. Two blouses were available but one sold at last nights launch!
The Yellow flower fabric is also 1950s fabric and limited edition so will be available in either a dress style or a ‘Lily’ & ‘Edina’ skirt.
The tile print fabric is remnant fabric which we do have a few metres of this but still limited amounts.
There is also more sustainable options like a beautiful soft Linen & Tencel mix; Rose’s Wardrobe already use Tencel as this is a great eco friendly fabric, and a Hemp & Organic cotton mix. Hemp is such a great fabric to use, it has so many good properties, to read more about it visit our fabric information page.
The prices of the fabric varies quite a lot in this collection, the Tile we bought as deadstock fabric, which works out cheaper per metre, the Plain fabrics like the Linen, Hemp/Organic Cotton and Linen/Tencel are more expensive and then the Pastel Stripe and limited edition are more so. At Rose’s Wardrobe, we try to be as transparent as we can with the pricing and costs it takes to make your garments, so we have reflected the price of the fabrics in our Summer pricing structure. THE ACCESSORIES
The finishing touch to any vintage inspired Summer outfit is the accessories. Rose’s Wardrobe love a matching headband and this season is no different. We also have a new bag style and stocking new jewellery!

NEW JEWELLERY

Rose’s Wardrobe is stocking the ever popular ‘Elsie’ bangle and matching ‘Elsie’ hoops in a range of colours, the new ‘Lena’ bangle and matching earrings in Melon, which goes so well with the Tile print. The Monroe earrings are a great vintage inspired accessory staple available in gold and silver, they will finish off your outfit perfectly.
NEW WICKER HANDLE BAG
A new must have accessory to arrive this Summer is the ‘Leona’ wicker handle bag! This vintage inspired bag is available in 3 fabrics, the Tile print pictured, the Pastel stripe cotton and a Vintage cloud print design. There are only 3 bags available, so very limited edition!
Named by Natalie, a friend of Rose’s Wardrobe on Instagram, after her grandmother, the ‘Leona’ bag is a spacious vintage inspired handbag with feature gathering detail, wicker handles and a inside pocket.
