The Judy Loungewear Set | Vintage Inspired Loungewear from Rose's Wardrobe

THE INSPIRATION & FABRIC

Judy Garland, the much loved American actress, singer, and dancer, is the inspiration and namesake for Rose’s Wardrobe’s new vintage inspired loungewear. 

The loungewear, available as a set or individual pieces, are made out of the comfortable and sustainable Tencel fabric. Tencel is a cellulosic fibre, regenerated from eucalyptus wood and requires less energy and water than cotton. As a naturally derived fibre, it takes up a lot less dye than other fabrics and is biodegradable - making it a more sustainable choice.  

Tencel is claimed to be more absorbent than cotton, softer than silk, and cooler than linen - making your loungewear not only luxe but practical, too. Tencel is not attacked by moths, unlike wool, and Tencel fabrics crease less and are easier to iron compared to cotton fabrics.

THE ‘JUDY’ SHORT SLEEVED TOP

The Judy short sleeved top features cute cap sleeves, a contrast bound keyhole detail to the front, and a self fabric tie around the waist. The design is comfortable yet flattering, with the removable self fabric tie giving the option to accentuate the feminine shape. 

The Judy loungewear set is available in pink or blue.

THE ‘JUDY’ PANT AND SHORTS

The Judy loungewear set gives you the option of shorts or pants, and they’re also available to buy as separates. Both the pant and short feature contrast binding to the front pockets, and an elasticated back and drawcord to the front for extra comfort. 

The Judy pant is available in petite, regular, tall or another custom leg length. Rose’s Wardrobe does have a bespoke ‘Made to measure’ service so you can make sure your garments are tailored to you. Find out more about it here. 

THE ‘JUDY’ SLEEP MASK

The Judy sleep mask is the finishing touch to the loungewear set, or adds a vintage feel to any loungewear set you may already own. The sleep mask is free when buying the set, along with a self fabric bag with a contrast drawcord, perfect for a laundry/underwear bag on any trip away. 

For added luxury, a monogramming service is available on the pants, shorts, and sleep mask, so you can lounge in style. 

MADE TO ORDER 

All of Rose’s Wardrobe’s clothing is handmade in Scotland, including the Judy loungewear set. Please allow up to 2 weeks for your blouse to be posted to you. THE TEAM

Rose’s Wardrobe was founded by Emma and Leanne after both having over 12 years of experience between them working in high street, vintage inspired, and fashion supplier backgrounds. The inspiration from Rose’s Wardrobe derived from Emma and Leanne’s muses - their grandmas and great grandma - Patricia, Edna, and Rose. The aim is to produce replicas of the beautiful clothes their grandmas wore, using colours, styles and prints from the 1940’s through to the 1960’s.
