The Ginger Range - The early Valentine's mini collection!

Grace Scott

Rose’s Wardrobe’s early Valentine’s Ginger range is here!

THE NEW GINGER COLLECTION

The original “Ginger” is a white, Bamboo silk, tap pant inspired by Ginger Rogers. The tap pants are a little bit of luxury that have been popular with Rose’s Wardrobe’s customers. The vintage inspired tap pants are now being joined by a slip and cami in a fitting Anthurium red bamboo silk. There will also be a vintage inspired accessories to match, in the form of the popular Sadie headband.

Both cami and slip have adjustable straps. Each piece is cut on the bias for beautiful drape and added ease to the garment.

The Ginger tap pant are sized in a S (8/10) up to XXL (24/26), while the Ginger Cami and Slip are sized by singular sizes. However, as Rose’s Wardrobe always strives to be inclusive, the custom made to measure service is always available. Click here to find out more.

WHY BAMBOO SILK?

Rose’s Wardrobe always wants to ensure it's sustainable and makes pieces that last, without damaging our precious planet. Bamboo silk, as well as being luxurious, is a sustainable choice, making it perfect for the Ginger range.

Bamboo, unlike ordinary cotton, is grown without chemicals. To convert to yarn it goes through a chemical pulping process. The bamboo viscose used by Rose’s Wardrobe is a closed loop system, meaning that the chemicals used for the pulping process are reused instead of being thrown out. The yarn itself is Oeko-tex, certified as being free for harmful substances.

Aesthetically, bamboo silk gives a soft, drapey finish that’s matte on one side and has a slight sheen on the other. The fabric feels luxuriously light against the skin and makes for a comfortable wear.

THE TEAM

Rose’s Wardrobe was founded by Emma and Leanne after both having over 12 years of experience between them working in high street, vintage inspired, and fashion supplier backgrounds. The inspiration from Rose’s Wardrobe derived from Emma and Leanne’s muses - their grandmas and great grandma - Patricia, Edna, and Rose. The aim is to produce replicas of the beautiful clothes their grandmas wore, using colours, styles and prints from the 1940’s through to the 1960’s.
