THE ROSIE SKIRT
A versatile classic, The Rosie Skirt is a staple in any vintage lover’s wardrobe.
THE ‘ROSIE’ SKIRTS DETAILS
Our Rosie skirt is the Autumn/Winter adaptation to our Rose skirt, and named after one of our muse’s Granny Rosie.
The Rosie Skirt is a half circle, full volume skirt with a deep waistband to emphasise your figure. It’s fully lined, has an invisible back zip, and features in seam pockets. Available in a variety of fabrics.
THE FABRICS OF THE ROSIE SKIRT
Our Rosie Skirt is now only available in the following fabrics; Chocolate & Teal check, Multi speckle donegal and our new limited edition Winter check. Winter check is a warm brown with cranberry red check running through it. It was designed and woven in Langholm from a local mill that has since shut down - so once it is sold out, it really has gone. So like owning true vintage, this reproduction vintage skirt is a rare find, isn’t mass produced and made just for you!
MATCHING HEADBANDS
The “Bonnie” headband is the perfect accessory to complete your Rosie Skirt’s vintage look. Our very first accessory, the Bonnie headband is available in a variety of fabrics, including fabrics to match your Rosie skirt. Our Bonnie headband are made using our limited edition fabrics (and get cut when cutting the skirts for less fabric waste!) we have limited stock of them available. Although we’ll make more in the future, we recommend getting your hands on the ones that you love ASAP in case it doesn’t return in that fabric!
THE TEAM
Rose’s Wardrobe was founded by Emma and Leanne after both having over 12 years of experience between them working in high street, vintage inspired, and fashion supplier backgrounds. The inspiration from Rose’s Wardrobe derived from Emma and Leanne’s muses - their grandmas and great grandma - Patricia, Edna, and Rose. The aim is to produce replicas of the beautiful clothes their grandmas wore, using colours, styles and prints from the 1940’s through to the 1960’s. You can connect with Rose’s Wardrobe on Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest. Have a look at where Rose’s Wardrobe will be here. Read our sustainability statement. Or, shop the collection.
