If you’ve ever wanted to learn a new skill, or just carve out some creative time for yourself during lockdown, the DIY headband kit from Rose’s Wardrobe is for you. 

The DIY Headband Kit comes complete with pattern, written instructions and a link to a video with Rose’s Wardrobe’s very own Emma going through the steps - great if you’re more of a visual learner! 

Each DIY headband kit contains enough materials to make 2 vintage inspired headbands, including: 

• 2 metal headbands

• 2 different fabrics

• Interlining for 2 headbands

• Needle

• Matching threads to fabrics for hand stitching

• Headband pattern

• Instructions with link to video.

The kits make a great option for some well deserved me-time, or as a thoughtful gift.

DIY HEADBAND KIT FABRICS

The DIY Headband Kits are available in a range of Rose’s Wardrobe’s sustainable fabrics.

The DIY headband kits fabrics are available as duos of: Organic cottons, Sunset, Cool Blues, or Floral Lilac. Any of these can be swapped about so just send us an email if you would like a different combination.

The Floral Lilac option includes Rose’s Wardrobes design - Pastel Pumpkin Patch. The exclusively designed Pumpkin Print is a pastel purple and features in Rose’s Wardrobe’s early Autumn collection. 

READY TO WEAR HEADBANDS 

If you love Rose’s Wardrobe’s headbands so much that you can’t wait to wear one, you might want to take a look at Rose’s Wardrobes handmade, vintage inspired, ready to wear headband collection. 

Each vintage inspired headband is lovingly made in Langholm, Scotland. A variety of styles and fabrics are available so you can find the perfect accessory to complete your vintage inspired outfit. 

The 'Sadie' headband features a knot style, and is now available in a beautiful bamboo silk fabric, in 3 colours including Anthurium. It's the same shape as Rose’s Wardrobe’s 'Bonnie' headband but the fixed knot gives it a turban look.

If you prefer a subtler style, the Julie headband is available in Spring fabrics. Alternatively, the ‘Bonnie’ headband features a detachable bow so you can have two vintage looks in one!

THE TEAM

Rose’s Wardrobe was founded by Emma and Leanne after both having over 12 years of experience between them working in high street, vintage inspired, and fashion supplier backgrounds. The inspiration from Rose’s Wardrobe derived from Emma and Leanne’s muses - their grandmas and great grandma - Patricia, Edna, and Rose. The aim is to produce replicas of the beautiful clothes their grandmas wore, using colours, styles and prints from the 1940’s through to the 1960’s.
