The Ginger Tap Pant, inspired by Ginger Rogers, are here to put a spring in your step!
THE INSPIRATION - GINGER ROGERS
The brand new “Ginger Tap” pant is named after the iconic Ginger Rogers. Ginger Rogers was an All American dancer, actress and singer who won an Academy Award for her performance in the 1940’s Kitty Foyle. Rogers’ is best remembered for her performances during the 1930’s RKOs musical films. As part of her dancing career, Rogers’ was known for her talents as a tap dancer.
When Rose’s Wardrobe asked for new ideas on Instagram, one of many online friends suggested “The Ginger Tap pant” as homage to Ginger Rogers’ tap dancing talents. That suggestion has now come to life! The brand new addition to Rose’s Wardrobe is the “Ginger” organic bamboo silk tap pant, available in black and white.

Rose’s Wardrobe was founded by Emma and Leanne after both having over 12 years of experience between them working in high street, vintage inspired, and fashion supplier backgrounds. The inspiration from Rose’s Wardrobe derived from Emma and Leanne’s muses - their grandmas and great grandma - Patricia, Edna, and Rose. The aim is to produce replicas of the beautiful clothes their grandmas wore, using colours, styles and prints from the 1940’s through to the 1960’s.
