Out Now! 'Step Into Spring' Part 2

We are excited to introduce you to our new collection of vintage inspired garments. Read on to learn more about this season's new styles and fabrics.

The Styles

The 'Evie' Dress

This new style is an update on our old 'Eva' dress and was inspired by a true vintage dress with similar details. It is super comfy to wear as it has an elasticated waist and is made from your choice of three cool natural fabrics.

A revere collar and button front add some 1940s sophistication to the dress, and the soft flowing skirt makes this a feminine spring staple.

The 'Evie' dress is available to order now from £220

'Jean' is a great blouse style for Spring, so we're bringing it back in the new Sketchy Spot print and a Mint Tencel/Linen blend. Both are really cool and light, perfect for warmer weather.

The Fabrics

We are bringing you loads of amazing new and vintage fabrics this season, from a tencel plaid to a mint vintage wool! Read on to learn more about a couple of our favourites.

Spring Green Check

This fabric is very special to us, as it was woven by Drove Weavers just steps away from our studio. We work within the last working power loom mill in the historic textiles town of Langholm, so it's amazing to honour our heritage by using local fabrics!

Available in the 'Rosie' and 'Elizabeth' skirts and the 'Polly' waistcoat.

Sketchy Spot Print

This print has been very popular already, and we can see why!
It is made from Lenzing‘s EcoVero fibre. This fibre is technically viscose, which would normally mean we’d avoid using it completely due to the huge amount of chemicals used in its production. However, EcoVero is an amazing alternative as it creates half the emissions and water impact of traditional viscose. The fibres also come from sustainable wood sources and have been awarded the EU ecolabel - meaning they meet high environmental standards throughout their life cycle: from raw material extraction to production, distribution and disposal!

Floral Spray

This beautiful print is a vintage deadstock fabric, meaning that it's very limited. We have enough to make three short sleeved 'Lillias' blouses, or you can request this fabric in a different style using our bespoke order form.

We love finding deadstock fabrics to use in our collections as they are unique and special. It's also great to know that we could be saving these materials from going to landfill!

THE TEAM
Rose’s Wardrobe was founded by Emma and Leanne after both having over 12 years of experience between them working in high street, vintage inspired, and fashion supplier backgrounds. The inspiration from Rose’s Wardrobe derived from Emma and Leanne’s muses - their grandmas and great grandma - Patricia, Edna, and Rose. The aim is to produce replicas of the beautiful clothes their grandmas wore, using colours, styles and prints from the 1940’s through to the 1960’s. Anna joined our team this year as our brand assistant. She is a recent fashion graduate and helps out with everything from social media to sewing.
