New Collection Coming Soon! Step Into Spring 🌿

It's only one more day until our pre-spring launch! Read on for the first look at all of our new styles and fabrics.

The Collection

Step into spring with our beautiful selection of vintage style garments, each made to order from high quality, low impact fabrics.

New Styles

The 'Dot' Dungaree Trousers

We are very excited to finally launch a pair of dungarees. They are such a versatile piece to have in your vintage wardrobe, and we had a lot of fun adding in extra details to this design.
Leanne styles the 'Dot' trousers with her printed 'Lillias' blouse
Topstitched pockets and bar tack details add to the land girl aesthetic
The bib buttons onto the waistband and can be removed for another way to wear
These trousers have six pockets in total!

Inspiration

Dot (or Dorothy on a Sunday) was Anna's Great Grandma and was quite a character. During the second world war, she worked as a land girl on the Isle of Wight, so she serves as the perfect inspiration for our new 40s style dungarees!

The 'Bunty' Blouse

Our second addition to the wardrobe for pre-spring is the new 'Bunty' blouse. It is an ultra feminine style with a scalloped hem and gathered front panels.

Emma styles hers with the 'Polly' waistcoat in Windowpane Check

Lovely front yoke detail

Gathered shoulders add another pretty feature

Inspiration

Bunty was Anna's Great Granny and was well known around town for her elegant style. Here she is pictured with Anna's Great Grandad Scott, who was from Langholm!

New Fabrics

There are some beautiful new fabrics in this collection, from vintage printed cotton to hand woven tweed.

Our Vintage Ditsy print is a deadstock cotton which is nice and light, perfect for a spring blouse. We only have enough of this fabric for one 'Bunty' blouse, so order quickly to get your hands on it!
A stunning Celtic Cross tweed woven by Elliott's Shed. This will be offered in our 'Nen' skirt style.
Our new organic cotton twill. This is incredibly soft but strong, perfect for the 'Dot' dungarees and 'Elizabeth' skirt.
A light and soft vintage deadstock, the mini grid fabric will be offered in the new 'Bunty' blouse. It is very limited, so get your order in as soon as possible to secure your piece.

This taupe wool will be a new option for the 'Patricia' trousers. It is super fine and drapes beautifully.

The Launch

The full collection will be available from 6pm tomorrow, but you can access the site 30 minutes early with a code sent out to our email newsletter subscribers! All you have to do to join is scroll down to the bottom of our site and enter your email.

THE TEAM

Rose’s Wardrobe was founded by Emma and Leanne after both having over 12 years of experience between them working in high street, vintage inspired, and fashion supplier backgrounds. The inspiration from Rose’s Wardrobe derived from Emma and Leanne’s muses - their grandmas and great grandma - Patricia, Edna, and Rose. The aim is to produce replicas of the beautiful clothes their grandmas wore, using colours, styles and prints from the 1940’s through to the 1960’s. Anna joined our team this year as our brand assistant. She is a recent fashion graduate and helps out with everything from social media to sewing. You can connect with Rose’s Wardrobe on FacebookInstagram and Pinterest. Have a look at where Rose’s Wardrobe will be here. Read our sustainability statement. Or, shop the collection
